At The Turning Pointe, our dance teachers are the heart of everything we do. Each instructor brings passion, experience, and a deep love for dance into every class, creating a supportive and inspiring environment for dancers of all ages. Our teachers are dedicated to helping every student grow in confidence, technique, and creativity. Their commitment to fostering both skill and joy makes The Turning Pointe a place where dancers truly thrive.

NICOLE AUSTIN
Nicole Austin began her dance journey as a pre-professional student, training extensively and earning top awards and scholarships at numerous competitions and conventions. She has also appeared in Beacon’s “Be My Organ” music video, showcasing her versatility as a performer. Since 2018, Nicole has been sharing her passion for dance through teaching, with her choreography earning recognition and multiple awards. As a Certified Personal Trainer with a specialization in Functional Training, she brings a strong understanding of anatomy and movement to her teaching. Nicole is committed to helping her students grow not just as dancers, but as confident, well-rounded individuals by inspiring them to discover their own passion, strength, and potential.

EMILY CHAMPION
Meet Miss Emily! For the past 5 years, she’s been bringing joy, movement, and a whole lot of love to our Tiny Tot and Pre-K dance classes. As both a dance teacher and an elementary school teacher, Miss Emily has a special gift for connecting with young children and making every class magical. Her favorite part? Watching little dancers light up as they discover the joy of movement and self-expression. We’re so lucky to have her inspiring the next generation, one plié, twirl, and giggle at a time!

LAUREN GUINUP
Miss Lauren is excited to be on faculty at The Turning Pointe, where she continues to inspire and guide students on their dance journeys. Lauren was a competitive cheerleader and gymnast with Affinity Cheer in Turnersville, where she traveled extensively to competitions resulting in many trophies and accolades! Lauren prides herself on being an enthusiastic and dedicated instructor to her students. With her unwavering passion, expertise, and commitment to her student's success, Lauren is a truly exceptional instructor. Lauren is also a new mommy to future dancer, Olivia Grace.

OLIVIA HALL-CONLEY
Miss Olivia is a versatile dance instructor with over 15 years experience specializing in jazz, tap and hip hop. Olivia prides herself on building an inclusive learning environment in the studio while fostering her students love for dance. Her classes focus on building strong technique in a supportive, high energy environment where her students feel empowered to express themselves. She teaches all levels at the studio and has set some award winning competition pieces on our company dancers.

SAMANTHA GREGG
Hello! My name is Samantha! I'm originally from Cape May County where I've spent the past 19 years training in dance-15 of those years competitively. I recently graduated from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor's Degree in both Dance and Marketing. While at Alabama, I choreographed and performed with Dance Alabama, a completely student-run organization that gave me incredible opportunities to grow as both a Dancer and a Leader. I'm so excited to begin this new chapter at The Turning Pointe!

TAMMY HALL
After earning her BFA in Dance Performance from Mary Washington College in 1992, Miss Tammy returned to her roots in NJ to begin a career in Dance education and choreography. With over 35 years of teaching experience, Miss Tammy is a dedicated educator know for Inspiring dancers of all ages and levels. As a teacher, her focus is on building strong technique, encouraging creativity and fostering confidence and discipline in every student. Miss Tammy also serves as The Artistic Director of The Turning Pointe where she is passionate about maintaining the artistic direction of the studio while overseeing student development, staff management and performance oversight. In addition, Miss Tammy is the Dance Teacher at Vineland High School where she also serves as the choreographer for the annual musical and various other events.

MORGAN
KIMMERLE GREEN
Morgan has been inspiring and training dancers and acrobats for over 14 years, earning a reputation as one of South Jersey’s premier Acro instructors. Her own journey began at just 3 years old, when she fell in love with movement and performance. Over the next 15 years, she competed extensively along the East Coast, earning more than 60 regional and national titles, as well as numerous high-score awards from prestigious competitions including Starpower, KAR, and the United States Tournament of Dance. After graduating high school, Morgan attended St. Joseph’s University, where she was a proud member of the Division I cheer team and competed at the NCA Nationals. Committed to excellence both on and off the floor, Morgan has continued to refine her craft as an educator. She holds certifications from the Acro Dance Teachers Association, Alixa Flexibility, and USAG Safety Certification, ensuring her students learn in a safe, technically sound, and creatively inspiring environment. With her wealth of experience, extensive technical knowledge, and passion for helping every student reach their potential, Morgan brings top-notch training and energy to every class she teaches.

MADDY SCARPA
A proud alumni of The Turning Pointe for 15 years, Maddy has spent most of her life surrounded by the art and discipline of dance. Now a dedicated teacher, she is passionate about sharing her love of movement while building lasting relationships with her students. Maddy values getting to know each dancer personally, celebrating their progress, and supporting them both inside and outside the studio. Skilled in teaching a variety of styles, she works with all ages, from beginners taking their very first steps to experienced performers honing their craft. In every class, Maddy strives to create a welcoming and inspiring environment where dancers feel encouraged, confident, and connected to the joy of dance!

MCKENNA SUPER
A proud Alumni of the Turning Pointe Dance Studio, Mckenna Super trained and performed there for 16 years building a strong foundation in multiple dance styles. After Graduating, Mckenna continued sharing her passion for dance by choreographing musicals at the collegiate level. Now Mckenna spends her free time choreographing youth musicals-nurturing the next generation of performers. Mckenna has exciting things happening as she will be joining the Turning Pointe Faculty to teach our littles and will also be a 5th grade Middle Township Teacher!

KRISTIE SCARPA
Miss Kristie, the proud owner of The Turning Pointe, has been part of the local dance community since she was a young girl, growing up in studios right here in the area. Her lifelong passion for dance inspired her to open The Turning Pointe, where she could create a space that feels like both a home and a stage for dancers of all ages. While she loves seeing every student grow, Miss Kristie has a special place in her heart for our Tiny Tots—the youngest members of our dance family. With patience, encouragement, and a playful spirit, she introduces them to the magic of movement, laying the foundation for both strong technique and a lifelong love of dance. Her classes are filled with laughter, learning, and the joy of watching each child take their very first steps into the world of dance.

ALEXA LORD
Alexa Lord is a proud alumna of The Turning Pointe Dance Studio, where she trained and performed for over 16 years. She went on to pursue her passion for dance at West Chester University as a member of the Dance Company, further developing her training and performance experience. Alexa has since returned to The Turning Pointe as an instructor, where she teaches a range of classes and choreographs competition pieces for dancers of all ages. She is especially passionate about choreography and deeply values the lasting connections she has built with her students throughout the years.
